Emergency Ambulance Services
Cape County Private Ambulance Service, Inc. has provided emergency medical services to Cape Girardeau County, Missouri since 1968. As an established EMS provider, all emergency calls are managed by full-time, certified Emergency Medical Dispatchers utilizing Medical Priority Dispatch System (MPDS) protocols. This structured, clinically validated approach enables dispatchers to deliver pre-arrival instructions that support life-saving and injury-prevention interventions, including CPR guidance, choking response, and bleeding control.
Each emergency response unit is equipped with advanced medical technology, including 12-lead ECG capability with telemetry transmission, a comprehensive formulary of emergency medications, industry-standard life support equipment, and multiple redundant communication methods. Ambulances are staffed by Missouri-licensed and National Registry-certified Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), ensuring a high standard of pre-hospital clinical care.
